Trengwainton Garden
GardensSpring always comes early to Trengwainton with magnolias and snowdrops bursting out from February onwards. Exotic trees and shrubs thrive all year round in the sheltered garden.
Throughout the year, the gardens are full of colour and blooms with secret paths leading their way to the terrace that looks out over St Michael's Mount and the bay. The walled kitchen garden is packed full of vegetables, herbs and salads and provides a lovely sun trap for a picnic. Kids can follow the family trail while mums and dads indulge in tea and cake!
Explore Trengwainton’s 25 acres and discover special plants nurtured for generations by those with a passion for their beauty and extraordinary story. Another five sections of walled gardens are crammed with tender exotic plants from around the world while other areas feature towering rhododendrons and giant tree ferns.
Whether it’s a family picnic by the stream or a quiet corner in which to relax, Trengwainton invites you to explore and come back for more.
I really liked the online check in, no room bills/pay as you go and easy check out….a really modern approach that works well.
The hotel is superb, with great spa / leisure facilities, right on the beach and only a short walk to town.
Thank you for making my birthday so special. Even though I’m local I felt like I was a 1000 miles away.
Wonderful hotel and Spa resort. Friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly even dog bed and treats in room, great food and ambience.
Had a lovely dinner last night in the restaurant with a voucher from Christmas. Warm atmosphere, great service and perfect food. Will definitely do it again
We had a free upgrade along with a lovely Birthday card for my Partner and a free cocktail for us both to celebrate! Such a lovely lovely gesture.
Excellent breakfast - such a good choice and very delicious. We also had THE best Sunday Roast and cocktails - Can't wait to return.
