Can I charge services, meals and drinks to my room?

We encourage you to pay for things as you go, this helps to speed up check-outs. Payment can be made by credit card (including Amex) or Apple Pay and contactless payments are accepted throughout the resort, including for room service. However, you can also opt to charge to your room if you prefer.

Can I park at the Resort?

The car park is reserved for overnight guests only and spaces are available on a first-come first-served basis. We operate a Parking Eye System, so to avoid parking charges, please ensure you input your vehicle registration at reception on check-in. Blue badge holders may request a reserved accessible parking space by contacting us in advance.

If you’re visiting for the day then we ask that you please use free, local parking on nearby roads or the council car park opposite the Resort.

What time are reservations phone lines open?

Phone lines are usually open 9am-5:30pm weekdays and 10am- 3pm at weekends. To speak to a member of the Reservations crew please call 01326 312707

How do I check in?

We’re now operating online pre check-in for all guests and you will receive an email shortly before your stay inviting you to check-in. Once online check-in is complete, keys can be collected from reception.

Alternatively you can check in at our reception desk upon your arrival.

How do I find guest information in my room?

We have created an online Guest Directory, accessible via the link in your check-in email or the QR code found in your room.

How can I make payment at the resort?

St Michaels is a cashless resort, room charges should be paid in full prior to arrival and we do not operate hotel room bills. We are pleased to accept payment via card (including Amex) and Apple Pay and there is no maximum spend on contactless Apple Pay transactions.

Do I need to take out travel insurance?

We continue to recommend you take out travel insurance prior to making your booking in case you need to cancel your forthcoming trip after the free cancellation period has elapsed.

What time can we check in?

We are now operating online check-in. You will receive an email 1 day before your arrival with an invitation to check in online. Key collection from reception, is available from 3.30pm on your day of arrival (4pm if you are staying in a self-catering beach residence). Guests are, of course, welcome to use the hotel facilities and car park if arriving early or staying on later. We cannot guarantee check-in before 3.30pm but will do our very best to accommodate any special requests.

What time can we check out?

Check out time is by 11am on the day of departure (10am for our self-catering beach residences). If you plan on leaving Falmouth later, our facilities can keep you occupied while your bags will be stored safely.

How much does it cost to upgrade?

Upgrades vary on availability and prices start from £20pp, per night. If you would like to upgrade when you check in, our hosts will be more than happy to inform you of any available upgrade rooms and pricing, providing you with the best options available.

If I arrive before check in, can I leave my bags at the hotel?

We have a secure back room that we are happy to store your bags in before check-in, allowing you to explore resort facilities or Falmouth after you have arrived.

What is the earliest I can check out?

We are now operating online check-out and you will receive a link by email including your final bill, the night before departure. We have staff on duty 24 hours a day so you can check out at any time before 11am (or 10am for our self-catering beach residences).

Is there a minibar in the room?

No, however there are tea and coffee amenities for you to use free of charge and the bar is open 24 hours for guests.

Do you allow dogs into the resort?

Yes, we have dog friendly rooms available varying in types, with prices from £20 per dog per night. When booking, please inform our team that you will be bringing your furry friend and we can find a room to suit you, subject to availability. We don’t just want to make your stay as comfortable as possible; we also want to keep your dog happy too. We can provide dog beds, treats, bowls and poo bags if they are needed.

Can we dine at the resort with a dog?

Yes, guests with dogs are welcome to dine in designated areas of our restaurants. Please ask at front desk for details.

What facilities are available before I check in and after I check out?

Please check before travelling which resort facilities are open.

You can enjoy use of the health club facilities including the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. You can also enjoy lunch in Nourish or afternoon tea in Brasserie on the Bay, however reserving a table is highly recommended. You can also book into our spa and experience an array of luxury treatments or use of our healing hydrothermal facilities. From 9 am to 8 pm, for access to our hydrothermal facilities, residents receive a discounted rate starting from £25.

Can I use the hydrothermal facilities and destination spa during my stay?

Yes, you can, however, there is an extra charge to use these facilities. We highly recommend booking both treatments and the hydrothermal experience in advance as we limit the number of guests using the facilities at one time to enhance the guest experience. There is a discount on hydrothermal facilities for hotel residents and health club members. You can find options available here.

How far away is town?

Falmouth town is a 5-10-minute walk away. If you prefer, we can book a taxi for you at the arrival lounge. Donald’s Cars is our recommended private car hire business (01326 313123).

Can we buy tickets to local attractions with you?

Yes, we can get you tickets to various attractions including Trebah Gardens, The Lost Gardens of Helligan and St Mawes ferry passes. Please speak to a host to find out more.
