Getting to St Michaels Resort couldn’t be easier thanks to the many public transport links available to us here in the county. Arrive by car, plane or even boat for a luxurious stay here in Falmouth.

Getting here... By Road

From London and the South East

When travelling from the South East of the country the easiest route to take towards our Cornish escape is via the M4 and M5 before taking exit 31 onto the A30.

We recommend planning your route in advance on busy weekends and holidays to account for excessive traffic. Check beforehand, especially in the summer when the route gets busiest, and plan for an alternate route.

The A303 may be a slightly longer route, but ditching the motorway can be the perfect way to dodge the worst of the traffic. Enjoy scenic views as you make your way to Cornwall, with Stonehenge visible from your car and plenty of other stops to explore on your journey.

From the North

When heading down to Cornwall you need to understand that everywhere north of the Tamar is North to the locals. However, if you are planning to travel from Birmingham, Leeds, or Newcastle, the motorways are your best option. The quickest routes are via the M1, M5 and the A30. Not to worry though as you will not be missing too many views because, once you join the A30, the tarmac lanes are swapped for miles of fields, and with the recent improvements made to the A30, travelling to St Michaels Resort could not be easier.

On the A30

Once you have passed onto the A30 in Devon you will pass the famous ‘Coming Home Trees’ before arriving in the county. Continue travelling on the A30 to Truro before following signs for Falmouth and the A39.

As you approach Falmouth, follow the signs for the beaches. As you come down Cliff Road, opposite Gylly Beach, you will see St Michaels sails on your left.

Parking

Those staying with us overnight will have free access to our private, on-site car park. Our 60 unreserved spaces are available for use and bring you right to our doors.

For day trips or spa visits, you will find ample public parking in the nearby car parks or on the neighbouring roads, leaving you a short walk into the resort. For more details on parking in the area, we recommend downloading the JustPark app.
