With just our subtropical gardens between St Michaels and the Blue Flag gem that is Gyllyngvase Beach, we are perfectly situated for access to three of Falmouth’s beautiful beaches.
A holiday on the coast is the perfect time to try something new, from relaxing beach yoga classes to adventurous activities for the whole family.
At the bottom of our gardens, you’ll find the beautiful Blue Flag Gyllyngvase Beach. Not only does the beach hold enviable Blue Flag status, indicating clean water, but it’s also an RNLI lifeguarded beach between May and September. Make sure to look out for the red and yellow flags that mark out safe bathing waters!
In Cornwall we take pride in our beaches, keeping them clean and safe for use, making them the perfect choice for some calming beach activities. Make use of the public toilets, taps or shower facilities on hand.
Based on Gyllyngvase Beach, Blu Paddle offers lessons, hires and tours for your exploration of the coast.

A short walk over to Swanpool Beach will bring you to Elemental UK where you can discover a range of beach activities, from windsurfing and sailing to kayaking and coasteering, there’s an exciting activity to try every day of the week.
Jump into sparkling blue waters from the cliffs and outcrops of Falmouth or paddle over to hidden coves for fun in the sea, rain or shine.
Falmouth’s beaches are surrounded by rocky outcrops perfect for a little rock pooling adventure. An activity for all ages, discover the wonders of the sea life you can find nestled along the coast, from sea urchins and mussels to the occasional starfish or jellyfish.
Rockpooling is a great way to learn about the sea, as long as you are careful and respectful of what you might find hiding in the shallows.
Just up from Castle Beach you will find a telephone box full of beachside wonders.
Perfect for spontaneous beach trips or those who may not have thought to bring a bucket and spade, this beachside telephone box has been filled with beach toys that have been found and donated to make someone else happy in the future!
