International Men's Day at our Health Club
On International Men's Day, Thursday 19 November 2026, our Health Club is taking on a 12 hour continuous triathlon to raise money for Man Down UK, and we'd love you to be part of it. It's a day to check in on the men in our lives, and on ourselves. However you like to move, there's a place for you here, whether you train every week or haven't swum a length in a while.

Three stages, no time limit
Your challenge begins in our pool with a 200m swim, at whatever stroke and speed feels right. From there you’ll ride 5 miles on a static bike, then finish with a 2km run on our outdoor route. Walking is welcome, and there’s no time limit.
This isn’t about racing the clock. It’s about turning up, going the distance in your own way and being part of something bigger than one workout.

How the day works
Starts run every 15 minutes from 8am, with the last at 7:45pm, giving 48 places in total, one for each start time. Entry is free and open to anyone aged 18 and over, and we’d love every participant to aim to raise £100 for Man Down UK.
Arrive a little before your start time and check in at Health Club Reception at St Michaels, Gyllyngvase Beach. Friends and family are welcome to come along and cheer you on, and every penny donated through our official fundraising page goes straight to Man Down UK.
Why we're taking part
About Man Down UK
Man Down UK is a men’s mental health organisation working to break the stigma around mental health and help men feel comfortable talking about how they’re feeling. Through informal peer support groups, they give men a safe, welcoming and judgement free space to share their experiences and realise they’re not alone.
Their groups are free, open to men aged 18 and over, and need no booking or referral. Men can share what’s on their mind or simply listen, because asking for support is a sign of strength. Together, let’s go the distance for Man Down UK.
